James B. Snodgrass, D.V.M., P.A.

Dr. Snodgrass received his D.V. M. from the University of Missouri. He began his practice in Mountain Home, Arkansas in 1971 with Dr. Ed Riley D.V.M.

James then started his own practice at his present location in 1973. James had a mixed practice until 2000, then he conceded to small animals and has worked with them since. When not at work James and Merilyn spend time with family.

Felice Troutman, DVM

Dr. Troutman moved to Mountain Home from the Jonesboro/Paragould area where she grew up, attended ASU, raised her children, and began her veterinary medicine career. Felice was a high school teacher at Walnut Ridge prior to graduating from Louisiana State University in 2012. Her special interest in veterinary medicine is small animal preventative medicine. Felice and her husband, Tracy, were drawn to the area by its abundant natural beauty and to Baxter County Animal Clinic by Doc Snodgrass' enduring concern for his clients and patients. When not at the clinic, Felice enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Felice and Tracy share an enthusiasm for TRYING new hobbies such as stain glass art, soap-making, and skydiving. Mainstay activities for the couple include camping, fishing, and kayaking. They also love traveling any chance they have with previous destinations including many of the continental US states, Mexico, Honduras & Venezuela (Dr. Troutman-on mission trips), and several European countries. If you see a yellow/orange 1972 Westfalia VW (named Gypsy Bug) driving through town, a camping trip may be in store for the Troutman's or it may be just a cruise through town.
