My name is Kristie Cotter. I have been working at BCAC full time since 2005 as Dr.Snodgrass's assistant. I have lived in Mtn. Home most of my life. I graduated high school here in 1994 and received an Associate of Arts degree from ASU in 1997.
I currently have 4 cats & 2 dogs of my own and love working with animals.
My name is LaQueta Smith and I have been with Baxter County Animal Clinic since 2012. My role at BCAC is primarily that of a receptionist. I schedule appointments for exams, rechecks, surgeries, medical procedures and boarding. I answer telephones, greet clients, prepare patient files and escort clients and patients to exam rooms. I bring to my position over twenty years of customer service experience.
Before working at BCAC, Dr.Snodgrass was my veterinarian for my animals for well over fifteen years. I have compassion for animals and their owners and I understand the stress that patients and clients endure.
My name is Samantha Walker. I have been in the veterinary field since 2005 and started at BCAC in 2015. I love animals of all kinds very much and caring for them on a daily basis is wonderful. I also enjoy horse showing, barrel racing, and team roping with my husband, Tom. I hope you enjoy this clinic, the doctors and the staff as much as I do.
My name is Bethany Drake. I have been working at Baxter County Animal Clinic since 2016. I have always loved working with animals and received my Bachelor's in Animal Science from North Carolina State University. When I'm not working, I spend time with my husband an two sons, who all luckily love animals as much as I do. In my spare time, I enjoy running and have completed several races including 5Ks, 10Ks and half marathons.
Hi my name is Karen Hoeppner, I have been at Baxter County Animal Clinic since 2015. Before coming to the Mountain Home area I was born, raised and lived in Casper Wyoming for 30 plus years. I worked in the automotive industry. Though I enjoyed my job there, I always felt something was missing. After moving here 2 years ago I took a year off to decide what I wanted to do. One day I saw this job in the paper for a kennel person and applied. I have not regretted one minute. I love the animals and the people I work with. Let's just say I have found what was missing. All these years, I should've been working with things that have four legs+fur instead of four tires. The only drawback to this job is I am definitely in trouble with my own animals when I get home from work after loving on everyone else's animals.
Casey was abandoned on the road but found a new home with BCAC!
