We're pleased to offer the following services at Baxter County Animal Clinic
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. If your pet does need to be seen, it is best to schedule an appointment, so that we can minimize your wait time and be sure that a veterinarian is available.
Our veterinarians perform a wide variety of surgeries, including spay and neuters, growth removals, and amputations. Depending on the needs of your pet, they may also refer you to a specialist. We are happy to offer a variety of other services at a discounted cost during surgical procedures.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Emergencies can be things such as snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and rat bait ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarians will do their best to work you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
If you believe you have an emergency, and it is after regular business hours, please call our clinic and listen closely to the message. There will be an option to connect you with our answering service, which will relay the message to our veterinarian.
